Anyone can learn to draw, paint and sculpt! That's our philosophy and our experience! In our Art Programs we teach you beginning, intermediate and advanced fine art drawing and painting techniques to children and adults.

We are an established after-school multi-media fine art program with a 20 year history of teaching fine art to children and adults. We are also award winning professional artists whose unique program is designed to provide children and adults with an opportunity to explore and develop confidence in their own creativity through a step by step skills program! It is an ongoing, sequential, program where skills are developed, much like ballet or piano lessons. We teach you techniques!

Our curriculum is wonderfully diversified. Students of all ages will be treated to a variety of different styles of art...and there are a lot! Contemporary, abstract, impressionism, realism and a sampling of cultural art. You will work with different mediums (from pencils, pastels, watercolors, sculpture and acrylic paints). And explore different art techniques with projects that will range from illustration to even cartooning/manga!

For the best results, we encourage student enrollment and participation from September through May! Students may join at any time. Talk with us about it.

Private and semi private lessons as well as workshops are available at various times year round!

Our personalized curriculum follows the basics of the START program and will help develop the skills of fine art in drawing, design, painting, coloring, sketching, mixed media and sculpting.
Most students love to work with subjects and themes they are familiar with so we create lessons that are geared to their enthusisam.
With increased self esteem and knowledge comes the desire to branch into other areas of art. We give you the artistic "tools" you need to create art for the rest of their lives.

We have discovered that in this day and age of instant computer gratification, the timeless skills of "working with your hands" are more important than ever for children of all ages! 
You learn the correct techniques to drawing shapes, figures, and many other different objects. Your eye and hand will be trained to understand size and placement, and explore drawing and painting mediums such as color pencil, pen and ink, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, oils, graphite, charcoal and they will do it all without the click of a mouse!

So, we like to take a practical approach to teaching drawing and painting. What this means is that instruction starts with the basics of drawing, design and shapes coupled with practice and more practice!
Once you are knowledgeable in your drawing skills, you progress into the exploration of painting mediums. 
You receive instruction in the use of different painting mediums, color-mixing, painting techniques, and the proper use and care of materials. We'll even go over the proper ways to present their finished art! We offer a broad range of technical experience in each medium, based on each student's abilities and interests. 
You learn to create still-lifes, landscapes, seascapes, figure, portraiture, animals, cartoons, patterns and more. Besides learning technical and artistic skills, you gain patience, focus, pride and confidence in their work. 
And that's what art is all about! An investment in life long skills for a better life!
