ART STUDENT ACADEMY

We love to create art for our clients and collectors! We also enjoy sharing our knowledge of art with other artists and so we schedule classes and mini-workshops into our schedules so that we can take some of the mystery out of art.

We firmly believe, just like any skill, that everyone can learn to draw, paint and sculpt. That's our philosophy and experience! So with that in mind, we create our classes with two goals in mind - to leave with an art piece you can be proud of and to have fun while you create it!

ART CLASSES: What we Offer

Welcome! We regularly offer a variety of classes, workshops and Art experiences for all ages. See what class would work best for you by reading our class descriptions.

1. Our S.T.A.R.T. (Stop Thinking Art is Really Tough) mini-workshops are open to those who want to get back into art or explore it for the first time.  We are certified partners with the START program promoted by Jerry's Artarama. Because all supplies are included, it's an inexpensive way for students to experience new medioums and techniques before investing in the supplies. We offer START classes regularly in one of our several locations: our studio outside of Franklinton, NC, at Wake Forest Art and Frame in downtown Wake Foest, NC and soon in Henderson, NC. Each 2 hour mini-workshop is complete in itself and is only a $30. investment! We encourage participants to bring a child, a friend or spouse and invest only $45.00 for both participants! 2. Our Afterschool Program is currently held at our Henderson location at Hills Music Shoppe. These are ongoing art classes designed for school age students  and run from September through May. Just $60. a month, all supplies included. Payment due at the beginning of each month at Hills Music Shoppe. You can conveniently enroll and pre-register through Hills Music Shoppe for each session. 

3. Our Summer Art Camps will be held in Henderson NC and in Wake Forest NC

4. Art Workshops  We teach art workshops at Jerry's Artarama in Raleigh regularly! For information on each one, scroll down or Click Here for our schedule.

5. Art Parties! Gather together at least 8 participants and we'll come to you for an Art Party! Whether it's a group of children or a group of seniors, just like our popular in-studio START mini-workshops, we'll spend two hours creating a beautiful painting! Perfect for an Art organization, 4-H, homeschool group, horse barn, garden club, Junior League, bachelorette party...even conventions! Just $30.00 per person, all supplies included!

6. Private Lessons are available to the artist who wants privacy or exclusive one on one instruction in a particular area. Lessons are $75. an hour and can be scheduled by simply contacting us.
